Phnom Penh, 15th November 2021 – Today Dai-ichi Life Insurance Cambodia and AMK Microfinance Plc. have jointly announced a long-term partnership to provide life insurance protection and savings to Cambodian people. The partnership, approved by the National Bank of Cambodia and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, will expand Cambodians’ access to affordable life insurance services offered by a global Japanese insurer.
Mr. Kea Borann, Chief Executive Officer of AMK Microfinance said: “This Bancassurance partnership will provide an opportunity for AMK to be closer to our customers through free insurance consultation on Dai-ichi Life Cambodia’s wide range of protection, savings and health insurance products. We will make this service available at 50 branches in 2021 and expand further in coming years. I strongly believe that this partnership will allow AMK to expand and strengthen our products and services by offering highly secured financing to customers via specific financial management to avoid potentials risks in daily life.
