AMK Makes a Contribution Over 61 Million Riels to Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation

AMK Microfinance Institution, a leading institution in Cambodia, launched its Merchant CSR Program, “Scan AMK for Cambodian Children,” on October 1, 2024. Our customers and all Cambodian people can scan pay via AMK KHQR at AMK Merchant nationwide, or when merchants present AMK KHQR for customers to scan pay (whether through interbank scan or directly via AMK Mobile), it partly contributes to the fund. AMK contributes 100 Riel per transaction on behalf of our merchants and customers.

On March 8, 2025, International Women’s Day, AMK contributed 51,396,000 Riels from the contributions of AMK merchants to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation.

On the morning of June 1, 2025, AMK contributed an additional 61,485,000 Riels from the “Scan AMK for Cambodian Children” program to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation. This initiative supports the invaluable work of Kantha Bopha Hospital in providing high-quality, modern, and free healthcare services to children across Cambodia. This campaign was organized to celebrate International Children’s Day on June 1 and to inspire the spirit of “Khmer Helping Khmer,” as well as to encourage donations to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation, aiming to bring smiles and hope to infants and children in Cambodia.

For every scan payment, AMK will contribute 100 Riel on your behalf.
