Pete also served as the Financial Systems Manager at Concern Worldwide, where he was responsible for systems development, implementation, and support in 30 countries around the world. 	Mr Kea Borann - Deputy Chief Executive Officer Borann joined AMK as Finance Manager in February 2004, where his responsibilities are managing the finances of the company including fund flows, forecasting, financial reporting and training other accounts staff, as well as meeting AMK's internal and regulatory policy requirements. Borann has also worked for World Relief Cambodia/CREDIT (Microcredit program) as the Finance Director. 	Mr Chum Paulette - Audit Department Head Paulette joined AMK as Inspections Manager in July 2004 and was later promoted to a senior role. He is responsible for developing Internal Audits and identifying non-compliance issues for review by the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee. He worked for four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (Cambodia) Ltd, where he was involved in the audit of major public and private sector clients. 	Ms Long Chantha - Treasury Department Head Chantha joined AMK first as Senior Inspections Officer in September 2005 and was promoted to Inspections Manager in January 2007. She was responsible for developing and conducting Internal Audits and reporting to the Audit Committee. She moved to Treasury Department in October 2008. Before joining AMK, Chantha worked for the National Bank of Cambodia in the Bank Supervision Department. 	Mr Mam Choeurn - Operations Department Head Choeurn joined AMK as Operations Manager in January 2004 where he is responsible for all areas of operations, including monitoring branch operations, managing product delivery, and operational planning. Previously, he worked for AMRET as Internal Auditor, Branch Manager and Assistant Operations Manager. 	Ms Ly Theeda - Human Resources Department Head Theeda joined AMK as Human Resources Manager in January 2005. She is responsible for overall management of Human Resources. She also manages AMK's compliance with regulatory requirements of the Ministry of Labour of the Cambodian Government. Before joining AMK, Theeda was Team Leader / Trainer at ACLEDA.Theeda is a Khmer national and completed a three-year course in Psychology and Pedagogy in UNBRO Teacher Training Center (Thailand). 	Mr Thun Vathana– Research Department Head Dr. Thun, an agricultural economist and a production economics lecturer at the Royal University of Agriculture, joined AMK as a Research Manager in December 2008. Dr. Thun is a former Research Manager at Cambodia Development Resource Institute, also worked for a range of NGOs and UNDP in the development fields of agricultural trade, rural development, and policy research. Dr. Thun holds a Bachelor of Science from the Royal University of Agriculture, a Masters Degree from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and a Doctorate from Nagoya University. 	Mr Meas Chanra - Training Manager Chanra was promoted to AMK Regional Manager in January 2006 after serving as Pursat Branch Manager since January 2003. After the formation of the Training and Product Promotion Department in 2008, he was promoted to its manager. Chanra served previously in Concern’s savings and loan program, where he began as Assistant in 1998 and became Branch Manager Trainee in 2002. He is a Khmer national and holds a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Management and Economics (Pursat), and an MBA in General Management from WANNLAN University. 	Mr Nang Kinal - Marketing Department Head Kinal started being a part of AMK in November 2008. He is responsible for all marketing activities and communications tasks. This includes public relations, products promotion, developing AMK's website, producing various media, and training marketing staff in meeting AMK's internal and regulatory requirements. Previously, Kinal worked for private companies for eight years, occupying positions including Operations Director, Marketing Manager, and General Manager. 	Mr Pakk Yourng - IT Department Head Pakk is from Kampong Thom. He has worked in Cambodia and overseas, most notably in the Middle East (Iraq and Dubai). He brings to the role almost 3 years IT project management experience, having worked for first-tier U.S. companies (in Cambodia). 	Mr Ngeth Chou- Product Development Department Head Chou joined AMK in April 2009 and was promoted to Product Development Manager in July 2009. He is responsible for all areas of product development, including market assessment, product policy development, business strategy proposal and product pilot-test. He was formerly a Senior Business Analyst at Emerging Markets Consulting (EMC), involved in many consulting projects for World Bank, UNDP, USAID/DAI, Israeli Embassy and leading MFIs on strategic advisory. 	Mr Soeung Phyry- Risk Department Head Phyry joined AMK from WING, where he was a Manager of Operational Risk. Phyry’s role is to ensure AMK’s risk management framework is effectively embedded and appropriately managed in partnership with each of AMK’s businesses. He has held a number of risk and finance roles including Internal Control & Compliance Manager and Risk Management Advisor at Plan Cambodia, Senior Operations Auditor and Financial Auditor at World Vision Cambodia, as well as Accountant at Friends International. 	Ms Rith Sokha - Regional Manager Rith Sokha is responsible for the branches of Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Preah Vihear, and Oddar Meanchey. Sokha started working in the microfinance sector as a Credit Officer within the Credit and Saving program of the Concern Cambodia Organization in Banteay Meanchey province from 1999-2002. From 2002-2005, she worked as an Area Manager in Banteay Meanchey. In 2006, she was promoted to Branch Manager for the AMK Pursat Branch. A year after, she was transferred back to Banteay Meanchey in the same position. In January 2010, she was promoted to a Regional Manager. 	Mr Pok Thy - Regional Manager Pok Thy is responsible for the branches of Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, Battambang, and Banteay Meanchey. Appointed Branch Manager in Banteay Meanchey in May 2003, and Regional Manager soon after, Pok Thy has over 7 years of microfinance experience with AMK (and previously with Concern Worldwide’s savings and loan program). 	Mr Sok Ratana - Regional Manager Sok Ratana is responsible for the branches of Kampong Cham, Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, and Mondulkiri. Ratana has been working for AMK in various positions for over 6 years. He has worked as a Client Officer, Senior Client Officer, Area Manager, Acting Branch Manager and Branch Manager for Kratie Branch. In January 2010 he was promoted to Regional Manager. Ratana holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Management and Economics. Currently, he is pursuing his MBA in Finance and Banking at Build Bright University in Phnom Penh. 	Mr Lim Seak Srun - Regional Manager Lim Seaksrun is responsible for the branches of Kampong Speu, Kampot, Preah Sihanouk, and Takeo. Seaksrun started working with the precursor of AMK (Concern-TPT program) in September 2002. Previously, he has over 7 years of experience in microfinance with PRASAC Credit Association (an EU-supported microfinance program in Cambodia), where he was a district supervisor. Seaksrun is a Khmer national and holds a BBA in Finance and Banking from International Institute of Cambodia (IIC) and is studying the MA in field of Microfinance Management program at SAIDI (Philippines). 	Mr Suon Pisey - Regional Manager Suon Pisey is responsible for the branches of Phnom Penh, Kandal, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, and Mukampul. Pisey joined AMK in November 2009. He obtained a bachelor and masters degree in General Management at Build Bright University in Phnom Penh. He has 7 years of experience in the microfinance sector. Before joining AMK, he held the position of Branch Manager at TPC MFI from 2007 to 2009. Pisey also worked for AMRET in various positions, including Credit Agent, Teller, District Manager and Senior Auditor. He has attended several training courses related to microfinance.
