General Savings Account

Product Description	General Savings Account (KHR, USD, & THB for Banteay Meachey)
Minimum/Maximum Transaction	. KHR1,000/USD1/THB10 minimum deposit to open an account and no minimum deposit size thereafter . KHR2,000,000/USD500/THB20,000 maximum deposit size . No minimum withdrawal . Maximum withdrawal: KHR200,000/USD50/THB2,000. Withdrawal in different date of Village Bank meeting or more than the maximum, clients need to inform at least one working day in advance.
Transaction Location	At the village, the transaction (both collection and withdrawal) happen during Village Bank collection meeting.
Savings Account Passbook	Record all transactions (deposit, withdrawal, interest capitalized, or withholding tax)
Savings Account Interest	3% annual interest for KHR deposits and 1.5% annual interest for USD and THB deposits.
Fee	No fees are charged on passbook, transaction, opening or closing account. Except when passbook is lost, withdraw the money difference from the normal Village Bank meeting date.
Dormant Accounts	An account will become dormant (cease to earn further interest) after 12 consecutive months of no transactions and will be liquidated after 24 consecutive months without activity.
